We are getting toward the edge again... and
Before I jump off into the landscape

Here’s what I’ve been readying for:
To take you apart, one layer at a time
Starting with what holds you in
-The parts I hardly know-
That keep the rest of you
From that inner, open field
-That I know even less-
In closing
I offer you
A straight shot to the vein
Of This
As time would have us
There is little breath left in this pose
The you to me is overgrown with speculation
The in between has more to offer than you ever did.
And this
In my imagination
In my labor
It could have been deep and light and centered and right
